What type of fish will we catch?

The type of fish that we will target will depend on many things. The time of year, water temperature, moon phase, tide and many other things are all factors in determining which species to target. We could catch Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, Jack Cravalle, Pompano, Redfish, Sea trout, Sheepshead, Snook, Tarpon, Weakfish and many other types of fish.

Where do we meet?

Again many determining factors are involved. We will decide on the location to meet after we have decided what type of fishing you want to do and where you are coming from. I will verify the charter 48 hours before and we will discuss the best place to meet. Majority of the time I put the boat in at the Port Orange public boat ramp under the Dunlawnton Ave. Bridge.

What is included in the price of the charter?

A licensed and insured charter captain, fishing license, bait and tackle, ice, bottled water, well maintained equipment (rods & reels, boat....), required safety equipment and fish cleaning service.

What do I need to bring?

All you need to bring is your food, beverage of choice, sunscreen, polarized sunglasses and a hat. Please dress for the forecast weather and I recommend a light weight rain suit. The weather forecast can be viewed from the weather link located at the bottom of the home page. And please wear a comfortable pair of non-marking shoes.

What happens if the weather gets bad?

As your Charter Captain I reserve the right to cancel at any time due to unsafe weather such as thunderstorms, lighting or high winds. Your safety is my #1 priority. In case of cancellation due to weather or any other reason by the captain, your deposit will be fully refunded or you may reschedule the charter for another time.
